Isn't Trump Doing Enough For The GOP ?
BristolPalin, if you don’t know her by now is the self-proclaimed “positive” daughter of SarahPalin, who started a blog on Patheos about faith and family life.

You would think then that she wouldn’t be so prone to starting negative controversy so easily and, certainly not with the President.

Bristol is now openly attacking PresidentObama for his trip to Alaska. She recently went off on an uneducated rant on her blog, which says everything you need to know about her. The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree it appears. Her attempt to discredit the President for visiting the state, and renaming Mt. McKinley, among other things, fails miserably and even contradicts what her mother has said in the past.

1. BristolPalin is worried about the cost imposed on taxpayers for visiting her state of Alaska.

Presidents travel all the time. While not every President in history has racked up the same amount of miles on Air Force One, it’s important to look at the stats. After five years in the White House, Obama has taken 31 trips for a total of 119 days abroad. At that point in George W. Bush’s presidency, Bush had taken 28 trips for 116 days. Almost identical. Surely, Palin wouldn’t complain if Bush visited her.

2. She claims we need to open up a pipeline, so we don’t “buy it from our enemies in the Middle East.”‘

Quick, someone alert the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the primary federal government authority on energy statistics and analysis. According to their website, Canada accounts for virtually almost all natural gas imports into the UnitedStates. Maybe that is what she meant by the MiddleEast? It’s in the middle of America and east of Alaska.

3. Bristol thinks Obama is just twiddling his thumbs, and not doing anything “important.” After all, there are a million other things he could be doing.

PresidentObama is tackling ISIS, immigration, the economy and Iran. As President you have to be able to multi-task, something SarahPalin, reportedly, wasn’t able to do while campaigning as a vice presidential candidate for John McCain.

The trip is more important than you think. PresidentObama is trying to draw attention to the area since it rarely receives any.

“I just wanted to mention that one of the things that we’ve been trying to highlight during this trip is the changing nature of the Artic, as a consequence of climate change, is a whole series of strategic implications — economic and national security — that is how to maintain our capability when it comes to maritime issues and commerce. You know, after World War II, we had seven icebreakers, four under the Navy and three under the Coast Guard.

Today, in part because we haven’t reinvested, we technically have three, operationally we only have two, really — and only one heavy icebreaker. Just to give you a sense of contrast, Russia has 40 icebreakers either planned or under construction.”

4. And, lastly, she claims that “no one she knows” has ever called Mt. McKinley “Denali.”

Maybe BristolPalin should spend more time listening to her own mother. Under normal circumstances, we would NEVER recommend ANYONE to EVER listen to SarahPalin. Mrs. Palin, in her official Farewell Address, upon renouncing her title as Governor for the state of Alaska in 2009, even referred to it as such:

“What an absolutely beautiful day it is, and it is my honor to speak to all Alaskans, to our Alaskan family this last time as your governor. And it is always great to be in Fairbanks. The ruggedrugged hardy people that live up here and some of the most patriotic people whom you will ever know live here, and one thing that you are known for is your steadfast support of our military community up here and I thank you for that and thank you UnitedStates military for protecting the greatest nation on Earth. Together we stand.

And getting up here I say it is the best road trip in America soaring through nature’s finest show. Denali, the great one, soaring under the midnight sun.”

We rest our case.
